Let us pray for Benue State so that God can intervene and save them
Terror struck without warning in the quiet Mbalom community of Gwer East, Benue State, as armed attackers unleashed chaos on residents preparing for Easter celebrations.
Hebrews 13:3: "Continue to remember those in prison as if you were together with them in prison, and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering".
How to Pray for the Persecuted
For Strength and Endurance:
Pray that they feel God's presence, know they are not alone, and are strengthened with, according to Global Christian Relief, 2 Corinthians 12:9.
For Boldness:
Ask that, despite threats, they will continue to speak the word of God fearlessly
(Ephesians 6:19-20).
For Deliverance and Safety:
Pray for their protection, provision for their families, and release from prison (Psalm 142:6-7).
For Their Persecutors:
Pray that their oppressors' hearts will be transformed, similar to the Apostle Paul (Matthew 5:44)
