Our heavenly father we pray that Christians facing danger often must make decisions in seconds and under intense pressure. In these moments, we pray for the persecuted to experience the truth of 2 Corinthians 12:9. This verse says, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” May the power of Jesus rest upon the persecuted Christians of Nigeria.
